Talking about Testing: Ten Years of LAQ Interviews 2016–2025 is a collection of a series of in-depth interviews of leading second language assessment researchers and scholars.

These interviews provide the background context for many of the important advancements in the field of L2 assessment and offer a unique understanding of the evolution of the field through the personal lens of influential experts, including Buzz Palmer, Antony Kunnan, John Read, Alister Cumming, Oryang Kwon, and others from North America, Europe, Asia, and Australasia. These interviews were published in the journal, Language Assessment Quarterly between 2016 and 2025.
