It doesn′t quite match up with the BTEC specification. Although what is included is very good. -- Mr Alex Leach * drupal *
A great read that addresses the key concepts within sport psychology. It offers an abundance of research which can be utilised by students and practitioners alike for use within the applied field and research endeavours. -- Mr Daniel Sly * drupal *
An informative but short copy. Definitely relevant for BTEC Level 3 students but needed in conjuction with other texts. As a stand alone book it would be pretty weak for this level of learner but as an addition to reccomended reading it would be very useful. I will include on assignment and course reccomended reading guides and suggest the library orders a few copies. -- Mr Gareth Harding * drupal *
Excellent book which will provide an informative guide for students who are working in the sporting environment. Great overview of key areas and current referencing. -- Mr Ian Sherwin * drupal *

I think students will like this book. It′s short, heavily-referenced sections act as a good signpost. Consequently, I′ll be recommending it to students to studying applied sport psychology in particular as a useful source. -- Mr John Perry * drupal *
I can only recommend this book as supplemental because I don′t really see what it offers that is new. It covers a lot of old theory and I feel would benefit from being more targeted at a few key concepts rather than doing a bit of history, a bit of the social stuff, a bit of the cognitive stuff etc. -- Mr John Perry * drupal *
Resource tool for assignments -- Mr Keith Hennessy * drupal *
