Bob Buckel Author

Bob Buckel grew up in Lamesa, Texas and spent most of his working life in the community newspaper business as a sports writer, editor and publisher. Since 1987, he and his wife, Krisan, have lived in Azle, where they raised three children and two foster children. She is a retired bilingual educator who volunteers as an ESL teacher for immigrants. They are active in church and community, and Bob spends his non-writing time gardening, making compost and playing guitar.They have four grandchildren.
