Issy began writing stories as a hobby when her three daughters were little. But Issy has been writing in one way or another for many years. With a career path that has been nothing if not varied, she later became a folk musician and songwriter, touring the UK with her husband David. Issy also has a first class honours degree in fine art, is a tutor and workshop leader, and runs two community choirs. She combines her musical life with painting, writing pictures books and her passion for wildlife gardening. Born and raised in Suffolk, Issy and David now live in Somerset with Albie the cat.

Sandhya Prabhat is an independent illustrator and animator. She illustrates childrens' picture books and young adult books, animates for TV and movies, and creates stickers and other social media content for clients including Facebook, Microsoft, Google and Snapchat. Originally from Chennai, India, Sandyha now lives in California, USA.
