Salvatore Caserta is Associate Professor of Sociology of Law and International Law at iCourts, the Centre of Excellence for International Courts and Governance at the University of Copenhagen. A socio-legal and interdisciplinary scholar, his research explores the authority and societal impact of international courts and organizations, democratic governance, the rule of law, and the evolution of the legal profession.
Nicholas Haagensen is Assistant Professor of Sociology of Law at iCourts, the Centre of Excellence for International Courts and Governance at the University of Copenhagen. His research focuses on the role of legal actors and legal expertise in international politics, international criminal justice, globalization and financial capitalism as well as the evolution of the legal profession.
Mikael Rask Madsen is a Professor of European Law and Integration, and the founder and director of iCourts, Centre of Excellence for International Courts, University of Copenhagen. Trained as both a lawyer and sociologists, his research focuses on international law and institutions, the evolution of the legal profession, judicial institutions, and the transformation of the state.
