The Author: Zongli Lu, formerly Associate Professor in the Institute of History, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Beijing, is now Assistant Professor of Humanities, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He received his Ph.D. from University of Wisconsin-Madison.
