This book is particularly useful for those learners who are truly ′preparing′ to teach and have little or no experience in the field of teaching. It provides some practical tips on how to tackle assignments with ideas on what they need to know and be aware of when starting out in the teaching profession. The book is well structured and has a very useful introduction which informs you how to use the book and locate what you require.
In each chapter there is a brief introduction which helpfully sets out what the chapter includes and at the end of each chapter provides us with a summary and useful further reading and useful points of reference.
Each chapter includes sub headings which makes it easy to locate relevant information. The language used throughout the book is clear, easy to understand, jargon free, yet appropriate for the content of the book and the informaton to be conveyed to the reader.
